I work with youth, adults, and families who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or carrying more than they’ve had space to process alone. Sometimes people come because anxiety and burnout, grief, family stress, or life changes have started taking up more space than they'd like. Sometimes it’s harder to explain than that — things just don’t feel okay anymore. My approach to relational mental health support is relational, practical, and collaborative. Together, we look at what's happening beneath the surface and seek trauma-informed therapy solutions that genuinely fit your life. I work particularly well with neurodivergent individuals, young people, families, and those who have often felt misunderstood in other spaces.
Sessions are available in person in the Tri-Cities, online, or outdoors when appropriate and agreed upon. For some people, sitting face-to-face in an office feels right, while others find that walking side by side, being outside, or meeting virtually provides the comfort and flexibility they need. Outdoor sessions draw on my experience working alongside individuals in community, recreational, and nature-based settings, where movement, creativity, and shared experiences can enhance conversations in ways that traditional office settings sometimes cannot, particularly when addressing issues like anxiety and burnout. Together, we will discover an approach that supports both the work we are doing and your best engagement style, ensuring you receive relational mental health support that is tailored to your needs. My work is flexible, relational, and shaped around what genuinely supports you best, including trauma-informed therapy techniques.
Alongside counselling, I also offer consultation, supervision, workshops, and community conversations focused on relational mental health support..
Over the years, I have collaborated with parents, professionals, schools, healthcare teams, and community organizations on various topics, including anxiety and burnout, neurodiversity, parenting, resilience, youth wellbeing, and the complexities of helping work.
Some sessions are structured teaching, while others resemble thoughtful conversations around a dinner table. Most sessions become a blend of practical ideas, reflection, storytelling, and shared learning, all within a trauma-informed therapy framework.
