I’ve been doing this work for over 30 years, but what matters most to me is how it feels to sit with someone, not what I can list on paper.
I’m someone who naturally pays attention to what’s underneath the surface. The things people don’t always say out loud, or don’t quite have words for yet. That’s often where we begin.
Much of my work has been with children, young people, and families, across all sorts of settings including some really complex and challenging ones. Over time, I’ve come to understand that people don’t need to be “fixed”, they need to feel understood, steady, and not alone in what they’re carrying.
People often find their way to me when they’ve been holding a lot for a long time. Sometimes after difficult experiences in workplaces, relationships, or systems that haven’t felt safe or supportive.
What I offer is a space where you can take your time. Where things can be messy, unfinished, or unclear and that’s okay. We figure it out together.
Alongside my work, I’m a mum, and someone who finds a lot of joy in music, art, and being around real, expressive spaces. I go to concerts whenever I can and I value creativity in all its forms. I also share my life with my cat, who has a way of reminding me to slow down and stay present.
I tend to show up as calm, steady, and human. I’m not easily thrown by things, and I’m comfortable sitting with whatever comes into the room — even when it’s hard. My aim is to create a space where you feel able to be yourself, without pressure, and where change can happen in a way that feels real and lasting.

I’m interested in what happens when things start to feel too much — or not enough — and how people make sense of that in their everyday lives.
My work is about helping you find your way back to something that feels more like you. That might be a sense of clarity, a bit more ease, or simply feeling less alone in what you’re carrying.

I don’t expect you to arrive with everything figured out. We start where you are, and we take it from there.

The way I work isn’t rigid or scripted. It’s responsive.
Some sessions are about talking things through. Others might be quieter, more reflective, or focused on noticing what’s happening in the moment, in your thoughts, your body, or your responses.

I pay attention to patterns in how you relate to others, how you respond under pressure, and what tends to get pushed aside. From there, we begin to understand what’s been helpful, what hasn’t, and what might need to shift.
I draw on a range of approaches and an understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress and overwhelm. What matters most, though, is how these are shaped to fit you not the other way around. We’re not aiming for perferfection. The aim is to pay attention to what starts to feel right for you, and build from there.

I’ve designed my practice to be slower paced and more intentional than many traditional settings.
That means you’re not just a time slot in a busy system there is room to pause, reflect, and take things at a pace you feel is right.

That means you’re not just a time slot in a busy system there is room to pause, reflect, and take things at a pace you feel is right.
Sessions can take place in a quiet office setting, online, or sometimes outdoors if that feels helpful. For some people, movement, fresh air, or a different environment makes it easier to think, feel, and talk.
We shape this together in a way that feels comfortable and workable for you.
Depending on what’s needed, sessions might include creativity, movement, laughter, or even moments where things feel a bit louder or more expressive as well as times of slowing down, grounding, or reconnecting with your body through rhythm, walking, or play.
Not everything needs to be talked through. Sometimes these different ways of working can help you feel more present, more connected, and more able to make sense of what’s going on.
Alongside therapy, my work also includes supervision, consultation, advocacy, and community-based support particularly in relation to neurodivergence and youth mental health/psychiatry, always with attention to wellbeing, sustainability, and capacity.
